To apply for membership, please identify the Membership Category that applies to you from the list below.  The category also gives the annual subscription rate which is due in November.  If you are joining between mid-March and mid-September, apply the appropriate discount.

     There is a once only £3 joining fee which covers the cost of the latest Magazine, recent Newsletter, rule book, library card and additional information about Devon Dowsers.

     Knowing your occupation and interests helps the Council to plan future events and projects.  Also, you may be able and willing to produce dowsing equipment such as rods or pendulums. Your email address is used only to send important messages such as changes to our Programme at short notice.

     Send this form, together with your cheque for the subscription and joining fee made out to DEVON DOWSERS, to the address shown on the form.  If for some reason your application is not accepted, your payment will be refunded in full.

MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES
Subscriptions are due in November.

     Reduced subscription rates are available for those joining later in the subscription year:

       mid March to the end of May - - - - 25% reduction;
       June to the end of August - - - - - - half rate;
       in September - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - quarter rate;
       after September  - - - - - - - - - - - - - quarter rate, or special rate to                                                     November the following year.  Please ask for details.

INDIVIDUAL = £14   + £3 joining fee.

COMBINED   = £23   + £3 joining fee.
                      Any two individuals at one address,one set of information and post, but both with voting rights.

JUNIOR          = £10   + £3 joining fee.
                     Under 18 years, all information, post and free access to meetings, but no voting rights or library card.  There is also a special rate of £19 for a Combined membership which includes a Junior member.

OVERSEAS  = £10   + £3 joining fee.
                   All information, post and postal voting rights, but no library card.

     Members do not pay for attending regular Group Meetings. Full members may borrow books from the Library at no cost.

     Members may bring a Guest to a meeting; there is a small fee for Guests.

     Occasionally, a special Speaker may be engaged, or a unique event organized, for which a fee may be required to cover additional costs.

     Records may be kept on a computer for internal use only.
